SOCAN Foundation Composer's Residency: Jan. 10 - 15 Halifax, NS

I am honoured to be working with Upstream Music Association through the generous auspices of the SOCAN Foundation's Concert-Music Composer Outreach Residency Program:Jan. 10 - 15 Halifax, NS.
During this residency I will premiere new works with the fabulous 11-pc Starry Nights multi-media ensemble,perform improvised music with the Aperture Trio whose new CD Sculpin, has been receiving critical praise, and re-visit the fabulous Barry Guy composition, Witch Gong Game w/Upstream Orchestra & guests conducted by Jeff Reilly.
All this happens at the Open Waters Festival 2012:

NORTH ATLANTIC SHOWCASE of new and improvised music
All concerts at Sir James Dunn Theatre, Dalhousie Arts Centre
6101 University Avenue, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Workshops and other outreach events will coincide with the festival's performance schedule.
